 About the Author

 Sylvie Parizeau
A paralegal by day and incurable romantic by night, Sylvie is a cross-genre, and she takes Happily Ever After very seriously. The End just isn’t in her vocabulary.

An incorrigible daydreamer, she now feeds her obsession with epilogues by concocting stories in which heroes deal with the happy from the get-go. Ready, or not. And she confesses under oath to loving every minute of it.

Sylvie lives her own Happily Ever After in the beautiful mountains of Les Laurentides in Northern Quebec, alongside her whole set of characters.

In between treks in their backyard wilderness, you can find them hanging out at

 My Review

Rated R

Nerdy sweet, with a refreshing realism of falling in love with someone living handicapped.

This book is right up there with the others in this series, as far as romance and the sweet happily-ever-after of falling in love with your soul mate. Oliver is nerdy, for sure, but not completely unacquainted with the ways of the world. Still, he's never found the kind of love he sees two of his GGS crew currently reveling in. Next in line to fall in love, she becomes his obsession from afar.

Aurele is deaf, although she wasn't always. Beyond that, she's been broken inside by those she should be able to trust. Meeting Oliver changes everything, and gives her the happiness she never thought she could have. Even when she tries to convince him she's damaged goods, and save him from the burden of being with her, his love mends her inside and out, and shows her just how unbroken she is.

Their story is by far my favorite so far. They are both far more raw than Zac or Liam, and I loved their personalities. My only complaint, same as with each book so far in the series, is the erotic scenes. The author includes their physical passion as a show of their love, which I understand, but do not enjoy. I end up skipping several chapters in the middle of each book, which gets somewhat annoying. Still, it's the only noteworthy complaint I have.

What I enjoy most about this series so far, is the fact it showcases each different kind of relationship. The guys are all so different, and their soul mates each match them perfectly. The different relationships require unique things to work, and come about in authentic ways that match each couple. I love the effort that goes into that, and the effort put into Oliver and Aurele is heartbreakingly sweet.

I would definitely recommend this series to anyone, and suggest reading from the start. While it's not a must, each story does build on each other, and we see the progression of previous relationships in each new installment. Fantastic series so far - excited to read the rest.
