The only three people in the world who I truly loved were my best friend, Ben, my Uncle Spencer and his fiancee, Irene. I am now grateful for what I didn't know on that sunny afternoon. One of them would soon be lost to me. The other two, I was destined to kill without hesitation or remorse.
It wasn't premeditated.
It was what needed to be done.
So I did it."

Success means love. Failure a death sentence.

When seventeen-year-old Oxford student Emily Baxter steps forward to become part of the search and rescue team for her kidnapped family member, she sees it as her last chance to put things right. Despite her seizures and being ripped between parallel universes, Emily is determined to get back to living a normal life. But first Emily has to join forces with the mysterious Gifted & Talented set and the darkly beautiful Henry Seadon. And survive. Killing the Misery-Makers who get in their way is a necessary evil.

What can I say about this book- I really love this story!!  Full of excitement and mystery, this is a story that captures the imagination, and takes you on an adventure you almost wish was real.

Emily's ability to time travel to other worlds, while not controllable, is exciting!!  Finding new friends, and trying to figure out the mysteries that surround her, makes her a great female-lead character.  While the situation may be fantasy, the struggles Emily faces, and the guilt from her past, is relatable, and pulls you into her world and her struggle.

The characters who have been introduced so far are all very interesting, and each make the story exciting in their own ways.  Set in modern England, this story is full of rich culture and vivid scenes that make you feel like you're there with Emily.  With smart writing and the story flowing quickly, this is a fun quick read that anyone can enjoy.  Certainly a book I'd recommend to any YA fan, and any book lover, really.

In this second installment, Emily becomes dangerously close to the intriguing Henry Seadon and his elite G&T group. As Emily tries to piece together what is happening in her life, she begins to see Henry as the key to saving Irene... and herself.

The second book in the series, the story development is fantastic!!  I love where this plot has gone so far.

With more comedy in this volume, this book is a wonderful sequel.  The smooth mix of jokes and humor with the suspense and plot twists are exquisite- I was laughing as much as I was excited, which is a great mix.

I love all the characters, and seeing more of them in this book is great.  Seb is absolutely hilarious, and quickly becomes a favorite character.  Henry is completely perfect, I adore his character!  He's sweet and romantic, and so great for Emily, he quickly captures your heart.  Knowing this is a longer series, I'm worried about the developments between Emily and Henry, but so excited for the next books!

The writing is so quick and flows so well, it's an addictive series to read.  I love Milly Silver's writing, and I'm sure any reader would enjoy her books.  This is certainly a series I'd recommend to anyone, but especially YA fans.

In this third installment, Emily learns from Henry how she is to become a crucial member of the G&T team. And that she is not alone in the quest to save Irene. As pieces of the twisted jigsaw fall into place, will Emily and Henry find a way to be together?

I LOVE this series!!  I completely love everything about how the story has developed.  Henry and Seb and the whole G&T group are such a surprise, it's a twist that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

The developing relationship between Henry and Emily is so cute!  He certainly seems like the perfect guy.  All the characters have mystery and excitement around them, and are completely addictive.

The mysteries and secrets brought up in this volume are exciting, and leave you desperate to read the final installation, and answer the biggest question: who is the Logician?

This series is amazing so far- if you haven't picked it up yet, you should!!  A must read for any YA fan.

What a fantastic ending!!  With such a wonderful set of books ahead of it, this book is the final pillar in Emily's story, promising a fantastic close, and it doesn't disappoint.

The writing is absolutely superb, as with the previous 3 volumes.  Well balanced, with the perfect mix of suspense and humor, the story stays fast paced and exciting.

With all the mysteries solved and questions answered, this book gives the perfect closure to this epic story.  The twists and surprises are wonderful, and the ending is completely perfect- I couldn't have pictured it any better.

This is a fantastic adventure, and is a series that should be on any YA fan's shelf.
